plays Deep South Piano Alexis Korner, Joe Cocker, Champion Jack Dupree, Lowell Fulson, Juice on the Loose, and the Graham Bond Organisation are just a few of the artists Gin worked with prior to going solo - he has performed all over the UK and Europe (Colne Festival, Burnley Blues, Cambridge Folk Festival) and in the USA has played both the Jazz & Heritage Festival and the French Quarter Festival, New Orleans. Taking inspiration from Meade Lux Lewis, Albert Ammons, Professor Longhair, Fats Domino, Jerry Lee Lewis, Dr. John ........Gin follows in a long line of boogie, blues, and rock pianists. |
