WHITBY MUSICPORT FREE FRINGE FESTIVAL

Saturday 22nd October
2.00 Open mic hour featuring some of the region's best acoustic singer / songwriters.
3.00 Whitby Red Hot Kippers with Vinnie Oliver: Expect the unexpected!
4.00 Ed Parrish: top Teesside based entertainer - thoughtful and soaring vocals. Recently signed to Manilla.
5.00 Railroad Bill: Skiffle n' blues
6.00 Dan Webster: York based acoustic star.
6.40 Dot Wales: 14 year old acoustic singer / songwriter guitarist.
7.00 3 Foot Ninja: Top original grunge punk mayhem from the hills (and they're still only 13 - 14)
8.00 The Good: Aussie duo Heather and Gareth with Kev Howard on didge - relentless touring has brought them a national reputation for their soaring vocals and supreme musicianship.
9.00 High Plane Drifters: if Hound Dog Taylor came from Teesside he'd be gigging with the full-on Drifters. Just completed second national tour.

Sunday 23rd October
2.00 Adrian Spendlow and Friends: Idiosyncratic poetry from Ade with acoustic style grooves.
3.00 Bob Fischer: a child of the universe lying low in North-East England his songs tell tales of sex, death, interstellar travel and deity complexes …… (Bob also has a weekly show on BBC Radio Cleveland: "Gobstoppers")
4.00 Lunacats: Nine-piece jazz ensemble playing swing and jazz-funk classics (and they're aged 14 - 17!)
5.00 Dangleberries: Scotty and Dud from Pickering play totally daft and brilliant acoustic versions of rock classics (with some originals thrown in here and there).
6.00 Manfat Voodoo: Championed by the late John Peel the Voodoo duo play songs from their ATOM award winning album "Erasmus Darwin and the Chicken Ladder". Weird, hilarious and dark.
7.00 Lucid: 3 women and 2 blokes from York playing a wide range of instruments. Folk rock at it's finest.
